Need Help Canon SX40 or Panasonic FZ150

So from what i have seen in reviews they have about the same resolution and stuff but one captures in RAW (The FZ150) and i think the shutter speed is faster in FZ150... I do not care about zoom. I am a little confused on the fps of the two though... And which has more settings, modes, or filters? Which one to get? I also have seen that the video camera is better on FZ150?
 
Just go to a site that has them both and hit compare. Than it will show them both side by side and you can see which is better.

So much more to a camera than raw numbers.

I would suggest heading over to dpreview.com and taking a look at their reviews. Being a Canon shooter, I'm always a touch partial to them. Plus, if I recall correctly, there are some hacks for the Canon firmware that can unlock some things and add in additional controls.
