it says u win a Toyota Sprinter by winning the 3 levels in the sunday cup(beginner) i did all the 3 levels in the sunday cup, when do i get the car? is it in the garage?or do i have to get all gold in snday cup

Welcome to GT Planet!! I'm JDMsportscar, and i'm a newbie too.You must get all golds to get the Trueno BTW what car did you start with?

Welcome to GTPlanet and GT3, omarjamil.

As JDM said, you need to get golds on all three races to win the prize car. It will play a little music and tell you "Bonus Car Acquired". Here are a few more tips to help you out at the beginning:

Where there is only one choice of prize car, that car can only be won once. This happens in the single race Cups. Don't sell them unless you're sure about it. Check to make sure you can buy another one if you want it back. You can rerun the races for more money; just not the car.

In the championship series, you must run the races as a series (not one at a time) in order to win a prize car. You will win one car randomly chosen from a group of four prizes. On these, you may rerun the series as many times as you want and you will get another prize car every time, as well as the money.

Do a search on this board for how to do the 'save and reload trick'. This is a way to guarantee that you win the car you want from the four choices.

Hope this helps! Welcome again.

the people here are really nice, i got the Toyota Sprinter
and i think it is as ugly as hell:mad:
i started off with the mazda miata(hope its spelled right)
the licences are very hard for me.
also,im trying to save up money for a good car, what should i get? and by getting suspention, does it lower it? and what suspention lowers most. and u know how there are alot of tune up parts, like sports and stuff, well are the best ones the ones that are most expensive> i really want to make my car fast, when i buy one, I KNOW THESE ARE A LOT OF QUESTIONS, but hey, im a newbie:lol:

The Trueno/Sprinter's not pretty, but it's actually a decent little car. Drive it a little and see what you think.

Yeah, they're hard. My advice is to ignore them until you need one to enter a certain race. Then you will be practiced enough to make them easier. Also, you only need to get the Bronze medal on the licenses to pass.

There are a lot of good cars to get. Pick one that can enter a lot of different races. For example, a Lancer Evo can enter the Turbo cup, the AWD cup, the Evo Meeting, and almost everything else in Beginner. Plus it's a good car. The early car I used most was an Evo VI RS, which is the lightest weight one.

The first thing I do to fix a car up is 1) get T2 super slicks, and 2) get Lightweight 1 or 2. These two things help get the most out of everything else on the car.

For the rest of the mods, I tend to get the full race suspension, transmission, and LSD, in that order. Then I worry about power. I forget what the title was, but there was a thread a while ago where people talked about what they do and in what order.

Hey, we were all newbies once. Questions are good. I do suggest that you try the Search first because a lot of things have been discussed before. But if that doesn't find it for you, go ahead and ask!

bustwave: also welcome to GTP. Do a search on this board for how to do the 'save and reload trick'. This is a way to guarantee that you win the car you want from the four choices.

Once you are rolling in millions of dollars you will be wishing you kept all of those original prize cars.

Atleast I am in that situation right now.

Generally the more expensive something is. The more it benefits your car.

An exception here is with tires. The more expensive the tire is, the faster it wares out in a race. But it also has the most grip when it is warmed up and prime, or in a race with no tire wear.

Another SMALL exception is with cars with very small motors that dont have much torque. These engines need some back pressure in their exhaust to be well rounded torque and horsepower wise. Sometimes the largest(most expensive) exaust is too large, and this may hurt a smaller engine by giving a small gain in high RPM power, whereas you might lose ALOT of torque in the low RPM's and the car may not perform as well overall. But generally, the bigger one is the best idea.

Welcome to GTP..............

Run now and you might not get sucked in!!!!!

I came here for help on GT3 just like u and like 5 monthes later here I am.....

just got the salvia(hope its right), i hate it, should i sell? i also sold my sprinter. is selling the salvia a good thing? i also spin out alot, how can i stop this, and how do u lower a car? is suspention the only way to go?
and what car should i buy? i was thinkin bmw

First of its Silvia  I got mixed up at first in GT2 as well. Well when you get a Semi-racing (i think) or full racing Suspension you can lower it or heighten it. The BMW is pretty good at the beginning of the game. I would also reccomend getting a Skyline if you can afford it sometime. The Miata is a great startig car. Once you get a turbo, stage 1 lightening, flywheel and Racing Muffler you can win the 5000cr Turbo Cup race in Ameature League. Welcome to GTPlanet :D...

omarjamil: The Silvia is actually a nice car except for that fugly green color. It handles very well.

If you are spinning out, I suggest braking earlier. As you approach a turn, the gear number will flash. This is when you should start braking. You should brake hard, mostly in a straight line before the turn. Then turn in and feed it the gas gently.

If you aren't doing it now, I suggest you try steering with the left analog stick and gas/brake with the right one. It takes a few days to get used to but it seems much smoother to me.

Adding the racing suspension will lower and stiffen the car, plus you can lower it further. However, going too low is bad except on very smooth tracks. I usually stay about 10% up from the left. I suggest you skip the semi-race parts and only put on the race parts. Leave them at their stock settings until you get the feel for it and then make small adjustments.

Hope this helps!

When I first came here I was not aware of the many other "sub-forums" here at GTP. You'll find them soon enough.

It looks like another member with the same first name?

BTW OmarJamil,
Since no one really answered this question. U can lower your car the most by buying the customizeable suspension and go into a race or even your home and go to run and settings.
Instead of pressing on the yellow start button, go to settings. then go to settings again and change your ride height there. Hope that helps!
