I love the monster that i've created. it is a supra rz, it has all parts except for a limited slip diff. the car is really fast, but it handles bad. i've tried my setup from gt2, but its not doing much. it drifts when i get on the accelerator, nothing i cant correct, but it slows me down and i feel that the car isn't driving to its fullest potential. any setups or suggestions would be great.

That's the thing with GT3. Very few cars, when forced to handle 1000hp or more, can actually do it very well. The Ruf RGT is the noticeable exception, although she does get a little hairy at times.

I recall this has been asked once or twice - try looking around the Settings Forum for a while.

BTW - don't let battle_stage hear you saying that drifting slows you down... :D

...where most cars dont really need more than 600 horses to be a good fun drive, drifting or otherwise
any more power and really the racing becomes just to easy

Yeah. Its really no fun when you're a lap ahead of everyone, its alot funner when you're even, in a good race.

...or have a lower HP than the AI and have to rely on good driving instead of power to win you the race

i just want the car to handle good so i can pull fast laps. the supra is my favorite car so dont go tellin me to get a nuther one:D does anyone have a link to a good supra handling thread?

I have a question, the regular OLR guys may agree with me
If the setups from the guys at GTVault are good, how come we dont see them racing in a Board challenge?

Personally Ive found that whatever setup I can come up with is 90% of the time faster than what GTVault has, especially with the F1's
...and there are quite a few guys here that are faster than me

I would probably assume so, but I dont know where the Setups from the members here are, so I posted a link that I knew of :) .

fair enough

If ya want/need a setup from some of the members here, just ask mate, thats what we're here for :)

Wouldn't dream of it. One of my favourites too.

But after nearly a week with a 1000hp Supra at Apricot Hill, trying to get the bugger to handle, I eclipsed it by 5s in a Ruf RGT first try...

Most 1000hp road cars don't corner well...

I've got my fully tuned Supra RZ to fly round th tracks, it's tricky to keep on the road at times but insanely quick. I'll post some settings tomorrow for what I use and some to make it a little easier as well.

i can do an entrie 5 lap race on laguna seca without spinning the car just the way it is (my gt2 setup) but it wants to slide when i get on the throttle after a turn. what is the best way to get rid of the oversteer?

If the rear suspension is too soft that will make the rear slide out with little effort, if you find it edging out regularly without braking hard etc than make the rear suspension a little harder.
