Ive had this game a week and have many questions. I would like to discuss the game over the phone with a long time player so if someone has time to talk please pm me your phonr number and reply to this thread pm sent so nobody else trys to contact me. Thanks
 
Why can't we just PM you or you post your questions in this thread so all players can answer them? Isn't that the point of a forum?

Could you not use the PM service or MSN or something? Personally, I'd say not many people would be comfortable giving their phone number to a random stranger who's just joined the forums.

I don't have a phone number yet but we can Email or try any other method. I'm a formidable long-time player (had the game since its release).

3- where do I see my game days like day 3646
4- please explain 10-90 pit stop strategy

1- where do I find milage of my cars Just click on the car. The Mileage will be the second portion on the right side.
2- how do I send a friend request XMB > Friends/Social > Send Friend Request > Put in Gamertag in Subject (case sensitive).
3- where do I see my game days like day 3646 It's on your Save File. That's the only way to actually see your days.
4- please explain 10-90 pit stop strategy Don't know about this.

1. Most common way is to access the car in your garage, it will be listed on the right.
2. When you are online, scroll to the right, and click on the user you want to request as a friend. When selected, a black box will appear giving you several options. Select SEND FRIEND REQUEST.
3. Exit GT% and go to your SAVE DATA UTILITY in your PS3's XMB menu. Find GT5 in there, and select it. It will give you your number of in game days.
4. Your pit stop strategy is how often your B-spec driver will automatically pit stop himeslf before he runs out of grip on his tires or runs out of fuel. Set this up for longer B-spec races. Most of the time it is not nessecary as he will pit himself when his tires are low or fuel is low, so I wouldn't worry about this so much.

That's the menu you see when you boot up your PS3. And the save file is on the XMB, under Game Save Utility.
 
Thanks guys I think I got it. If you read my post on new member intro you will see I got hurt and am laid up in bed for a few weeks lol thats why I bought this ps3 and why I cant get to my computet lol

Don't forget update 2.0 is coming out on 10/11. I don't know how you are planning to progress through A-spec, but I would definately take advantage of the older Seasonal Events before they expire. I don't think anyone knows if they will expire, or when, just a thought. It will give you heaps of credits and XP.

Wow, lots of stuff in the seasonal lol ill start right now. Do I have to buy a hard drive or flash drive to back up my game before the upgrade ?

Oh, that's from Seb Vettel's podium finish on the Japanese GP. PD promised an X1 if Vettel accomplished a position of 10th or lower.

And at above comment, you don't have to. Spec 2.0 is a mandatory update, though.

No, you don't have to. However, it is highly recommended you back up your Game Save Data to USB regularly. I back mine up once a week or so.
