I am doing the Vitz race and I am having an easy time with it until I got to the test course, which I thought would be the easiest one. It is pretty long, but my car is getting destroyed by the other races, my max speed is 120 mph i that helps find a solution, what should the speed be? and how do I get it?? Thanx........

Did you work on your gear settings? Try putting them as far to the right as possible ( the highest number ). That did the trick for me when i raced it. Should give you a two lap lead at the finishline.

Dont mess with the gear ratio unless you know what your doing. Just move the auto settings (in the transmission) fully wide.

I think that is what made in holland meant. Adjust the gear auto setting to the right. That gives you a higher top speed. I am not a know-it-all at the adjustments, but that is one thing that is pretty easy to work with.

You will start slower than the other cars, but at the first turn, "See ya!!" :burnout::burnout::burnout:

Strangely enough, my vitz was reaching 260km/h (just) on the straights, and i never touched the settings.

DO NOT MAX OUT YOUR GEAR RATIOS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too much drag will be on your car after 140 mph, and ur car wont even shift into sixt gear if you max the gears. What you should do, or at least what i did, is put your settings to the rigth and go check in qualifying if your car tops out. If it does, put it to the right a little more, if not put it back to the left a little more. The max speed i reached, and it can go faster, was around 185 mph. I overlapped the other guys so it means you shouldnt have a problem. If you max it out, i didnt even max it out all the way with the settings, it wont shift inot sixth gear. U can do it but your car will not accelerate, but decaccelerate. By the way, good luck with that race, the most boring thing i ever did.

I agree with Xtreme. Move the gear ratio (pretty far) to the right for the Test Course, but going too far will put the ratios past the cars top speed aerodynamically. Set it about so the car will reach max speed a little before it hits the limiter in top gear. I think top speed should come in the section after you leave the tunnel and before the curve.

Of course, on cars with adjustable downforce, you can lower that as well. But I don't think the Vitz is one of them.

If you're new to settings, remember you can save the defaults (or any setting) before you adjust them.

I wasn't saying to slam your gears completely wide, I have made that mistake before. Not enough power to get through all the gears...

Yes, good advice, just adjust and test them before going to the actual race...
