Hi all, posting here as I've given up hope on the mods over at the Kunos forums ever approving my comments (it's been weeks).
I recently learned how to redo a car's driver positioning and steering animation in 3DS Max using the official Kunos modding pipeline. This has helped me fix a few mods, but it only works for a specific steering wheel size. For larger steering wheels, it seems you have to delete keyframes and then manually add them back in, which seems painstaking and is currently beyond my skill level in 3DS Max.
I've had a look at both animation rigs on the Kunos forums, the one for 3DS Max and the one for Blender. The problem is that the guides the creators have written aren't very beginner-friendly, and I can't even figure out the first step of how to import these rigs and start using them. Does anyone here have experience using either one of them and can tell me how to get started, or point me to a solid tutorial?
