Need help with caputuring vid

Ok I have a Sony vidoe camera. I just got the movie maker 2.0. I have the camera connected to the s-video adapter and the yellow RC video adapter. On my computer I dont have the red or white RC adapter so I can't get sound. So how do I get just the video on it says its not reading the device and it's on too.
 
I haven't used any of that stuff before, but in a program I used before I had to go into an options menu and change the device input option. It might be set to USB or something now.
 
Also what video card do you have? Are you sure those are inputs?
