need help with dfgt!!!!

my dfgt just arrived today and so far nothing is going right. the whole force feedback seems wrong if i reverse slowly and leave the wheel the thing will spin crazy in each direction. also the further I go into the race the more the wheel goes out of alignment. half way through the race im driving holding the thing sideways also meaning all the buttons are useless aswell as the paddle shifters since i cant locate them!! something must be wrong here is there a setting i can change? help please:nervous:
 
Keep your hands on the wheel and practice. Start with an automatic transmission so your attention is focused solely on the wheel until you get accustomed to it. If you're cranking on your wheel up to and exceeding 180° -- and you aren't taking a tight hairpin or are a seasoned drifter -- you're doing it wrong. When you start to do it right, try using the paddles or stick to shift.
 
Don't think u understood me correctly I don't mind the force feedback problem is over the period o the race it looses it's centre return point. So through the race going straight requires me to hold the wheel 180 degrees out sometimes. This can't be right
 
Contact logitech and they will give you a new one, they gave me a new one when mine broke.
 
Posting it back now hopefuully my replacement is good just seems wierd never hear of it happening to someone else
