Hello people this my first time posting, haven't had gt5 that long, but i am very good at controller drifting and just had upgraded to a driving force gt wheel which i do like alot. Theres just one problem i've noticed. When i use my controller tuned cars and enter a turn i just automaticly spin out before i get to counter steer, but if i use a stock car i can drift perfectly around all turns like tsukuba. Can someone please help with me wheel tuning, i don't have a clue what to start with. PSN: sHaWn_OwNz

Same here. I spin out alot on wheel. And snap back. I'm working on a z34 for wheel. But everyone says a soft suspension helps. Try simulation and ffb at 6. Idk anything else. I'm still learning.

i don't have problems much with snaping back just entering turns and holding the angle while on the throttle, i've done it with alot of the stock cars like the old viper, 07 m3 bmw, and one of the mercedes, but all my controller tuned cars cant handle angle when i use my wheel, i just don't get it. I have simulation steering, power steering on, and im running 3 on force feedback which is still strong for just 3. I just don't know if im like not counter steering quick enough or if im steering to quick. Thanks for the Reply

Try this: Simulation, Power Steering Off, FFB on 10. If you need help with setups on cars, let me know.

Ahh i think that is a little to much for a beginner also simulation does nothing for the DFP, DFGT, G25/G27, and T500RS.

Try power steering on, and FFB at 6, but this is my opinion so its whatever you like guys

What i've been practicing with is 2-3 on ffb which im getting use to it now, on my thrid day drifting with it. what im trying to find out is the tuning. i've searched youtube and google for how to setup a drift for the wheel, but can't find any luck on it. Can someone possible give me some tips, or better yet and wheel tuned car on gt5. Thanks for the Replys

Set everything to a softer ride more -front toe less front camber lower rear end than front stuff like that.

Anyone looking for help can add me on PSN. I can give you cars or setups for drifting with the Driving Force GT.

try to make the front very soft and rear very stiff.use comfort hards too because anything higher going to make it severely understeery and snappy and make the lsd higher then your controller tune too but i dont recommend puting high lsd in a very powerful cars like the tvr speed 12.lower horsepowered cars would be good cars for high lsd.if your understeering, try to turn in a bit faster and get on the gas earler.

Shawn hit up MLR_DAnGeR_KiiD that is is online account he uses a DFGT so he will be your best bet just tell him in message that your from GTP and that FORD sent you.
