hi,

i've just bought a firewire card for my PC and it came with a capturing program called "Ulead Video Studio 6". I can capture my video camera perfectly, but when i plug in my ps2, it can't find the correct driver. is there anyway to overcome this problem?

thanx in advance

Your computer doesn't actually "capture" the video from the camera - The signal coming through the firewire cable is merely a stream of 1s and 0s whereas the PS2 puts out an analog video signal.. You'll need a real (as in not firewire) "capture" card in order to get the video signal from your PS2 to your computer...

That firewire port on your ps2 is not a video output. You need to get the RED, YELLOW, WHITE cables to connect with a PC to capture video, and this is done with a capture card that accepts these inputs into your PC.

Not necessarily, S-video works as well.
