Need help with Le Mans seasonal!!

For those of you that have won the new 10 lap, b-spec seasonal, i ask that you help me so i can win. I just need tips, strategies, car tuning, etc.
My driver level is 40 and i have become very close to winning many times and then blew it on the last lap. I greatly appreciate your input. Its a lot of credits to win.
This thread may help others with the same struggles.

2J Race Car w/Sports Soft Tires. Not my strategy, but it's the one that worked for me (a bit of a surprise).
