Need Help with ZR1

I been trying to tune my fully broken in ZR1, but it doesn't seem to want to go below 9.2xx .I been playing around with the suspension, but its just doesn't want to go any faster. I'm stuck at 9.307! Any tips will be helpful.

Suspension Setup:

+20/+60
19.0/8.5
10/1
5/5
1/1

3.5/0.0
-1.00/+0.70

P.S Could someone also tell me the difference between dragging at Indy and SSRX?

9.30X is pretty fast with the ZR1. Try figuring it out with trial & error. Sometimes it feels better when you earn the fast time yourself.
 
You are using the power band to find the shift points and not shifting near red line right ? My zr1 will do around 9.3xx if I don't use the shift points, with and it's 9.260

Maybe because I'm using auto to shift and not manual. I'll try your tip.

Yes it does, My goal atm is to beat Karo's ZR1 time. :)
 
Lol your going to need a better suspension setup to beat my time.

From what I've seen, Karo's second home is now Route X. Good luck beating those times. And the fastest at Route X doesn't mean the fastest online. ;)

Exactly. I ran Camacho today, with the SRT 10
His ran a 9.064 from what he said and he had a cpl of wins on me cuz of his tree ing abilities.

Thanks for the suspension setup, I got it down to 9.295 by luck tbh, I can't seem to get to that time anymore. lol Been getting 9.35x - 9.37x for the past 20 minutes

Thanks for all your help guys, I really appreciated the help.
I don't think I can decrease my time with the suspension anymore, so back to playing around with the transmission.:scared:
 
ok, a few questions, then i may be able to help you.

1. are your gears all smoothly shifting?
2. did you flip your transmission?
3. what gear are you launching in, and are you trying to quick shift?

1. Gear 2 is giving me some problem, it hit the red line before I could shift, but everything else is smooth.

3. Launching in 1st atm, and I don't know what you meant by quick shift.

try lowering your second all the way left and launching in that. first wont work well.
 
Yo is this the regular ZR1? If so, try what they've given you. Always experiment too, I feel guilty if I use someone else's tune. (Yes I have changed, huzzah huzzah :lol: )
 
I thought the ZR-1 was at THE LEAST a 2-3 quick shift, I know some even use a 3rd gear launch..
 
I just finished doing my transmission from scratch.
I got it down to 9.277!

Edit: 9.269 now!
