Need major virus help

I keep getting weird stuff happening on my laptop. I downloaded AVG and did a scan and came up with LOP whatever that is, it seems to be bad though. I need something to remove it. I downloaded avast! which seems to be ok except for the fact that its a trial. I also downloaded spyhunter which is awesome but it wont remove anything because it is a trial. Spybot wont do it either. So whats the recommendation for this? I need some guidance :indiff:👎

Yes, you have a 60 day trial, but its still free - all you have to do is register your copy.

Its a bad idea to have more than one antivirus program on your computer. Trust me on this one. It might just be a Symantec + McAfee deal, but its a bad idea.

You should probably also stop searching for Russian brides or downloading all sorts of toolbars for whatever browser you're using. If its IE switch to Firefox immediately as that will close many holes from which viruses are planted.

If you're using limewire you should probably stop that as well. Thats like a gateway for viruses.

Well apparently the problem is worse than I thought. Its a trojan/bckdr DJL r=or something like that. I can find it but not quarantine it or delete it. Any ideas?
 
I have cleaned this off a few PC's (never mine). Can't remember exactly how I did it, found some removal tool on net or something, was a while ago. Anyway a quick google search came up with this.
 
Well for starters restart your computer in safe mode. That should allow you to delete it since it should not be currently in use in safe mode.
