I agree with the statements posted previously. I've driven my 145hp 2009 Focus SE and it will happily chirp the tires with a little gas. Same with my 1999 Dodge Caravan that has 180hp.

That was enough for me. Provided I don't dare drive my truck. :scared:

Yeah, it's almost a 20 minute drive to work/school/literally anywhere, so a car is very valuable.
 
I think my final decission may be a Corolla S.
 
That sounds nice and sensible, you can do some suspension upgrades later on and mod it to your liking. I pretty much learned to drive on a corolla and even though some call it boring it might be the perfect first car
 
As a first car, that's not a bad choice at all. 👍

Its a nice overall good looking car and it has enough horsepower for a beginner like me
