I thought I'd post this after seeing Tommy's thread (Thanks for the inspiration Tommy :sly: )


Let me start out.


I'm 13, and this girl is 15. We met at the dragstrip. I have talked to her some before, but now it seems I just can't get the guts to go up and talk?


Any help on how to get her to like me? :indiff: Thanks.
 
Probably the worst thing you can do is hesitate. Just talk to her, make her feel comfortable around you.
 
Get some balls and talk to her before you get tree'd. She doesn't have to like you. You might not like her when you get to know her. But you'll never find out until you do.

Anyway. Like the guys above have said, just man up and talk to her.
Talk to her about the dragstrip, the next meet at it or whatever mate, and if you get into a conversation ask her if she would like to go out sometime.

At your (and her age) the worst thing she will say is no. Time is on your side mate, if you think she's worth an effort then go right ahead and try it with her.

EDIT: Including the advice below, just remember, you are of a real young age. Your body and your moods are going to change and keep changing for the next few years. While it never hurts trying, she may still be going through the same phase.

Another thing I forgot to mention; She lives 90 miles away :scared:

I'm 15, and my girlfriend and I will hit a year in a little over a month. You just have to be responsible, and not go for the girl that drools everytime she sees a set of abs or hears a funny joke/flirty comment.

OP, just go up and make a (tasteful, please be tasteful) joke. Two good rules of thumb: make her laugh (see: tastefully) and don't treat her like one of the guys. Make her feel as if she's a little different than everyone else, but be discreet about it. 👍

That, however, may be a red flag. You do need to be able to see each other somewhat routinely. It helps.
 
Why are you wasting your time trying to 'date' when you are 13. relationships last about. a week at that age

And trust me, never date a girl more than 30 miles away. its a ****ing waste of time.

(I'm ALMOST twice your age, been there done that I know what I'm talking about)
 
I have to agree, at 13 things like relationships come and go like the wind.

But I would still go up and talk to her and get to know her better.

You can try, and the worst thing she can say is "no". "No" also means that she's not interested, and that she'll get mad if you continue. Rejection might make you sad, but remember; life goes on, and you'll eventually find someone.
 
Oh, I know that if she does say no and I keep bugging her, that ruins the chances in the future.


I imagine she'll say no mainly because of my age(and my old school way), but hey it's worth a go.
