Need some help with GT5 Prologue Button Controller Assaignments for Player 2

Hello fellow gtplanet,

I'm new to this forum and I must first say I'm a big racing game fan so I hope I've come to the right place

Anyway Logitech G25 steering wheel is under order and hopefully I'll get it in couple of days, I can't wait.

As for now I've been playing GT5 Prologue with the PS3 SIXAXIS controller with costumized button setup for Player 1. I don't like the default setup as it is the same as the older Gran Turismo from the PS2. I'm now using R2 button for Acceleration and L2 for Braking because now I can regulate how much gass and brake you can push on the button. With the default setup where X and the Triangle button is for the Acceleration and Brakeing it is almost impossible to play the game with the professional mode where I have all the help modes turned off including the traction controller set to 0.

Now I recently wanted to play the game in 2P Battle dual mode with my friend but I can't change the Button Assaigments for the Player 2 (Player 2 Button Assaigments is on default), how to do that in the Option Menu? In the Option Menu I can only Change Buttom Assaigments for Player 1 but NOT Player 2, why? Does anybody know how to change the Button Assaigments for Player 2? Have I overseen something on the Option Menu I don't know about where I can do this?

You can't change the button configuration of the second controller.
But you don't have to use x and [] for throttle and brake, just use the right joystick.
You could also use the right joystick on the default settings in GT4 (probably also in the other versions)

Weird that you can change the button setup for controller 1 but not controller 2

My guess is they just forgot about that.

Unfortunately you cannot currently change the button assignment of the second controller. Hopefully this will change in a future update.
