Before I get flamed, yes I understand the fact that it belongs to another section, and that still, some people do this but understand that it has a reason. Lets face it. The computer section doesn't get that many hits as fast as the rumble strip and this is an urgent matter.

Case in point.

Last thursday after returning from work, my laptop suddenly lost sound. After a lenghty research, I've found out that my computer doesn't have "mixer devices available" even though my sound card drivers are still in top shape.

I need somebody to get me a copy of his or hers sndvol32.exe file.

That is all.
 
So, let me get this right? You flood a forum whose origin is a video game, with off-topic messages, and then attempt to "justify" this with the fact that there are "not many hits" in your off-topic area?

Added to this is the fact that had you expended the same effort in searching the wider internet for help as you did on your crapulent whining about GTP's demographics not suiting you, you would have found the answer anyway.

Slippery: I am prevented from issuing you with a warning for "gross stupidity". I shall therefore elect to warn you for "flooding". Look it up in the Acceptable Use Policy.
