Hello.
I have a Mercedes 190 touring car that I use in a Championship and need some setup help with it.
Up until now it's been right on the pace, however I cannot hook it up around Laguna Seca. I am 2 seconds off the pace. Anyone have any tips?
It HAS to be limited to 550PP.

Cheers.

Deutsche Rennsport has a tune for it: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=150626
I can't say how good it is, but you should give it a try.

I've tried the above tune, it's helped me gain 0.1s. I am suffering from massive understeer it would seem.
Any takers?

MERCEDES 190E EVOII TOURING CAR 481HP 980KG

AERO F 35 R 50
LSD TORQUE 8
LSD ACCEL 28
LSD BRAKING 10
RH F -10 R -8
SR F 14.0 R 15.2
EXT F7 R8
COMP F7 R8
ROLL BARS F5 R7
CAMBER F 2.1 R 0.6
TOE F -0.03 R 0.00

Based on Dueutsche' tune... If you're plagued by understeer:
Lower the rear downforce, 35
Raise the front ride height, -3
Add negative rear toe, -.10
Swap the spring rates front to back, 15.2/14.0
Swap your Sway bars front to back, 7/5
And... Drop LSD DeAccel to 5.

*Note I've never driven nor do I own this car. Just some suggestions that should at least get you into the right direction, since I see no other existing tune for this car.
You'll have to be more specific about when, where and how the understeer is occurring if you want more accurate answers.
Good Luck.

If that was a guess then that was amazing, 3 laps after setting it up, I blast in a time only 0.3s off the pace.

Amazing, thank you.

Adrenaline is like the Chuck Norris of tuning. He doesn't tune cars, he stares them down until they tune themselves...:sly:
