The rumour will never die as people are too daft to realise it's not true. It's like the ever reappearing 778 fake car list that keeps being posted as the real GT4 car list and such, they need to at least try and use their noggins.

Sometimes I do feel like a grade school teacher watching the kids in the sandbox.

An interesting story about dogs and carpets. My old friend Keith had a new puppy. He was trying to teach it to go outside when Nature called. Seems the dog mistook the living room carpet for the front lawn. Every time Keith caught the dog peeing on the carpet he tossed it outside. The Dog finally figured it out. Every time it wanted to go outside, it'd pee on the carpet.

Hey, it's worked for many people. They've all managed to hit the button on the 1 in 4 chance car as well. Much like a broken clock. It's right twice a day. I wouldn't say wrong, just mis-informed.
