Need urgent GT6 help

Well gents first of all sorry if this is in the wrong section, but while playing GT6 the game froze on me so had to force close the PS3, when rebooting it now it says Load failed due to corrupt data, do you wish to retry? I press yes but the same prompt appears again but I dare not press no as it says the data will be lost?

What do I do

Take out your USB stick that you've faithfully kept up to date with your GT6 data and copy/paste it into your game save.

Aww, goodness, poor you Is your Gran Turismo 6 (Backup) data corrupt too? Sadly this hasn't happened to me yet, but I have a feeling the game will attempt to use the backup if the main save isn't working.
Sorry if it's wrong! Just an idea, yes.

Delete you save data and try loading the backup data.

There are two save data for GT6. Copy both for safety on usb, then delete the normal of your ps3, but keep the back-up one. Should help. Happened to me once when it froze during a loading screen when GT6 first released, never happened after all the updates and many months after it.

That reminds me that I should probably make a game save on a usb... I haven't made one in over a year
