Where is this picture taken from?

it's obviously real...
 
It's real, it was taken in North East Scotland. The chap who took the photo's a member on another forum I'm registered to, and is well known for posting excellent pictures of cars in the wild, this being no exception.

There's another pic in his photostream from a different angle, which is even better.
Also it disproves the allegations it's from GT5 since there's 3 cars in the shot.

Not to mention the GTO isn't in the game. :)
 
the snow looks so computerish, that's what I noticed first, but I guess it's the editing that gives that look..

Licence plates, so it couldn't be GT5.
 
No video game could have that kind of snow in my opinion. :p
Or it could just be a photoshop... :lol:

lol A LOT of cars should be in GT5, instead of some of these stupid cars we will never buy or race... like wtf where they thinking when they got to VW?!? Where the producers at PD high? Like honestly, there are SO many VW's I wish that were premium cars... ugh
 
GT5 Premium cars look almost too clean. Check the sidewalls of the tyres for example.

That's not a criticism either, just an observation.
 
wtf is this thread? No GTO in game, no snow accumulation in game, not one thing about that picture remotely makes me think of GT5 or any other game. Award for dumbest question in recent history?

What a joke.
As a matter of fact, I've been living in Montreal for 5 years now and I've seen enough snow for the rest of my life.
I've also seen a 599 GTO in the flesh at FoQ when they first introduced it to the potential customers of Quebec area.
And I've wasted enough time on GT5 to be 34/35.

So put all those things together, shake up a little bit, and kaboom, it doesnt take a genius to realize if that photo you shared with us is a GT screen , a photoshop of a real 599 GTO, or simply a lucky owner who busted the myth of fine Italian machinery melting under snow.
