I played this with my girlfriend last night and I was surprised how fun it was. We only played to the third level so I cant establish much credibility but so far I thought it was way better than "Contra Shattered soldier"
I really like the way they set up the weapons. You can have 3 guns of a different style than your partner so the bullets (rockets, flames)are just going everywhere. :)
The original for the Nintendo was still the best IMO. Ill post more on "Contra Neo" later when I get a chance to play it again. We had to put it on Easy so we could hav 50 guys. If you put it on normal you only get 6 guys and they dont last long in the Contra games. :lol:

I had it on the Snes if that's what you mean. I liked that game but couldn't finish it, too damned hard if you ask me. Could be worth checking out.

When I say original one I mean the one on the old school nintendo. The one where you put in "up-up-down-down-B-A-B-A-select-start" then you had I think 100 guys to beat the game with. Im sure anyone that played that still has the "up up..........." code still memorized to this day. Which you desperately needed.
