Was introduced to Wordle and Nerdle roughly at the same time. Surprised the latter it wasn't mentioned once in this forum.

So like Wordle, daily puzzle, solve for the blanks in the allotted spaces, but instead of solving for a word, you're solving for a math equation. Same parameters, the equation has to make sense (24+13=37), including the answer (you can't just throw in random digits and operators i.e. 24+13=99)
Edit: also BEDMAS applies!

⬛ - digit/operator is not in the equation
🟪 - digit/operator is in the equation, but not in the right place
🟩 - digit/operator is in the correct place.

Possible inputs range from digits 0 to 9, +, -, *, /, =. The basic stuff
8 characters per line.

At first glance this seems harder than Wordle because not only do you have to squeeze numbers together, you also have to create the answer too. However, I've only been playing for a week and I'm finding that because you're playing with numbers and having to construct a valid equation, the process of elimination becomes easier when you start ruling out what numbers can and can't be used.

I fudged this morning's puzzle because I failed to read the instructions mentioning that BEDMAS applies.
Did have an acceptable answer had it not:

35 - 5 / 6 = 5
