Welcome to the official thread of the NES Eco Challenge!

This is the second time the Nukeshot Endurance Series (NES) have held this event. Featuring the same cars (Gr.4) as last time, but a new circuit in the form of Autopolis is set to make this a true tactical test.
The aim of the game is simple. Get to the finish as fast as you dare, as you have a limited amount of fuel to make the distance. Pitstops are prohibited. Who will come out on top?

Credit to viperconcept for the original idea that this is based off of.

Rules & Procedures

Race day: January 26th 2019.

All times are given in GMT.

19:15: Lobby Opens.
19:45: Qualifying Starts.
19:55: Race Start.
21:00 (Approx): Race End.
Qualifying will be a standard in-game 10 minute session (see "Qualifier Settings")
For the NES Eco Challenge, the PITS are PERMANENTLY CLOSED during the race. The goal is to make it to the finish with the fuel you start with.

Track limits are 2 wheels on the track or kerb.

As a general rule, we encourage all competitors to drive as clean and fair as possible (see 'The Good Racecraft Guide').

Squeezing another driver's racing line on a straight is allowed UNLESS contact is made or they get squeezed off the track completely. The offender in the incident will always be the driver switching lanes.

Any attempts of excessive blocking will be looked down on by the stewards, and penalties may apply depending on severity.

Any incidents you want investigating after the race MUST BE REPORTED to one of the Moderators.
This guide was put together by @VBR. All competitors are encouraged to read it in order to ensure that our racing is fair and clean.

Does homer strangle you too?

This looks really fun and strategic. Just the type of racing I like. Unfortunately, I am already committed to a series that doesn't end until about 20:00 GMT. Not sure if I would be able to make it.

Entry list updated. Apologies that it took a while for me to get around to it. Still have 7 spaces left at the time of posting! :D

It's Raceday!

Hope you're all looking forward to this special event. As the thread states we still have a few extra entry slots available for anyone wanting to enter. Details for the timetable can be found on the "Race Day Schedule" tab on Post #2 (times listed in GMT). Make sure you add NS_Zokeo_9 to your Friends List on PSN in advance.

Hope to see you there! :D

Something came up on my schedule that may cause me to miss this. Feel free to put me down as reserve just to be safe.
