net work problem

I apologize a head of time if i am posting in the wrong forum, but i have a question.

so ever since last night, i have been trying to receive this car my friend sent me. but it wont allow me to receive it. there is the other option of clicking on the item itself and then saying something like "want this to go into the 'items list?" and when i do that, nothing happens either. shorty after that, it goes on to say i have a network problem. has anyone had this happen to them?

it starts up fine as long as i am off line so i am clueless right now. it gave me a network error ID but i clicked too fast and lost the number :(
 
I'm presuming your gift is stuck which is more common than most people imagine simple solution get your friend to send some random gifts. For example helmets,suits,horns etc & this will free it up. As for network problem don't know but that's a coincidence & just your Internet playing up.
 
ok thanks, i just had a different friend send me something else too so i will check it out later. i was freaking out lol. i didnt want to lose everything i had tuned. thanks for replying.
 
No problem but ask your friends to send at least 5 items as 1 or 2 might not work, don't understand it myself but it's how it is I'm afraid.
 
If you are loading up offline okay, then I think it might be at the PD end of things that is having the problem. Their servers have periodically run slowly, causing the game to almost hang while loading for some people.

Reboot your router maybe and be sure you have a copy of the game save if you want to be sure of keeping your cars etc safe. Mind you, there appears to be an automatic back-up file these days, so that shouldn't be a big problem for people anymore.
