Netflix: New movies?

So I signed up for Netflix last night on my PS3 and have started my free trial. Lots of movies, and I got hooked on watching documentary's after I couldn't find a movie I wanted to watch. I did have one question however...

How do I find the "new" movies? Not stuff they just now have available, but new releases? Inactive in the free trial?
 
They rarely get brand new movies just out on video. Most of the distributors don't want you to watch movies at no extra fee that quickly. Some have allowed them to and some haven't.

Also keep in mind that in many cases movie releases for purchase and releases for rental are on different dates with discs at a physical store as well.



But to find the newest released movies your best bet is likely to check the Netflix Web site where you can sort by release date. You also have more functional options for organizing your queue.
 
Hmm, that's disappointing. Oh well, lots of old movies I could watch I guess. Still some good stuff there.
 
Yeah, I also sort the movies on their website. They don't have much of the newest releases on stream, but bang for the buck here is just amazing.
