Network not compatible(error: 844)

I tried to goin to a online room, that a PSN friend had created.
I'm in Norway he in Australia. But I did not come into the room:banghead:. Told that the networks were not compatible, error 844.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? What can be the reason for this problem? And what can be the solution for this?
 
This happened to me a couple of days ago. It happened in 4 rooms, two of them were Spanish, other one Portuguese, and the other one German. I'm from Spain, so I don't think location has something to do.
 
I have this message too a lot lately, I think it has something to do with either your NAT Type or the other one's NAT Type.

Not sure about it though, but I get the message when I try to join NAT 3/unknown
