Yea, just never do it.
I bought a '03 Mazda 6S on Sunday and it was missing some things, and I asked if they had the parts already and they said yea...so the salesperson said, "sure, we can put that on..just bring it by tomorrow and pick it up before we close." So, I made him sign a paper sayin they would put all the things on the next day free of charge.. Well, next day comes, I wake up and drive it down there, they give me the enterprise car to use (blahh a '02 corolla). I called them about 30 mins before close to see if my car was ready...than they tell me that they don't have all the parts, but definately tomorrow it should be ready. ok by this time its already tuesday, so I call them back tuesday evening around 4pm, nope still not done, they said they would call me back before close but they never did. so now on wednesday, I call back and they are only missing one part...said it should be coming in around noon. ok I called back 5hrs later and they still havent finished it. Thursday I called and they said it was being worked on. so yea now its Friday and I'm still with this sheety corolla waiting for MY car. but I doubt I'll be getting it. the stupid thing will be a year old by the time I get it back
he could have told me it was going to take this long, but since he only said it would take one day I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to get an alarm and some window tints installed but I'm more than likely going to have to cancel those if the car isnt ready today.
but yea.... just dont ever believe a salesperson!
