It may seem stange to most of you but I never really hook my PS3 up to the internet.

Any recommended patches? I'm just starting the Expert series and at lv19.
Can you choose what patches to install or does it just do it automaticaly when you hook up?

Yes, I think you should. No you can't choose, you have to update to the most recent.

In general the only things people complain about on the new patches are things that affect online functions of the game, which you apparently don't use anyway. I'd update.

Sorry, no you cannot choose which to update. In addition to the other info you finally can adjust your individual gearing and not just final.

The big difference for you would be less money for races, but more xp. Depending on your point of view, may or may not be worth it. The difference is pretty big for both.

I might be wrong, but I don't think credits have gone down. They went up for a month or so, then they went to normal levels. What patch lowered the credit rewards?

Correct, there was a temporary boost on $$$.

Your missing out on online racing fun - the best part in my opinion 👍

Plug it in :)

Agreed. Playing on your own gets boring after awhile. Some real competition ( not to mention some real d bags ) online keeps the game fresh for me.

Online is awesome if you find a decent group of people to race with. Some of the jerks are actually entertaining once in a while too haha.

I have :)

I'm inclined to disagree a with you though on the d bags that ruin some races. I have yet to run a Daytona Nascar race without being taken out in the first lap. I'm not saying I'm the greatest driver but c'mon, the first lap? One time a guy called me out because I was using a Tony Stewart car. Sure enough, into the wall in turn one. He was using a Brian Vickers car :yuck:

Yea I dislike that as well. I was more referring to some of the things people will say. Or my personal favorite was the guy in the X1 who went the wrong way around the ring to ram me for beating him in the previous race with a slower car than him and he ended up missing me TWICE

Read the patch notes on gran-turismo.com

I'd recommend patching.
