This is a lesson for all of u. :(

If for some reason (GT3!!!!!) u are really angry or frustrated DONT THROW UR PS2 CONTROLLER. I have personally myself been in those moments. Now I am stuck with a weird functioning controller. I opened it to fix what was wrong, closed again, but it doesnt feel the same as before! Luckily I have another controller (I bought one extra for 2player games) inside the box :D . But still I am not going to touch that one, because I know I am going to break it too!!!

I spilt Dr. Pepper in mine, still works though (but changing down a gear is a bit sticky)

 I decided mine was thirsty for a can of coke. The 2nd day I had it.

:) If it's been a couple days since I fired it up, I have to reef on the X and Square button a few times to free 'em up.

I can control my anger, and no matter how angry i get, i will never purposly damage anything, including my Dual Shock2 or Ps2.

:)

I have a regular PS controller that the X button sticks sometimes. I never use it in driving games. I always seem to crash a bunch when using that controller.

I also spilt dr pepper on my PS1 console only after having it for almost a day. Luckily a friend of mine was selling his playstation for $15 and he owed me $15 so he just went and gave it to me.

the controller that i have is six years old and still going strong, never missused it, never humilated it!
to be frank it's still brand new, exept for the appearance it is shiny, real shiny because of too much use thanks to the gt series, and the other rally games and final fantasy games!!
oh i thought of tellying you guys, i don't know why but yesterday i bought all the rims in the game, now every time i need to change rim i just go to wheels!!!! :D
oh and the controller is a dual shock 2

I have not broken a PS2 controller. My brother has came close a couple of times, but since he bought it and spent hard earned cash for it, he is more gentle now. There is still a house-shaking stomp every once in a while. It's kinda funny sometimes 😈

Ha ha - I got your joke there TVRKing even though no-one else did!!! I thought it was funny as well if no-one else did

Mine managed to make it through GT2 without getting thrown out of the window, though I'm not sure i'll make it through GT3 without something happening to it :nervous:

Use creativity to prevent controller abuse.

Example: If you have a habit of slamming the controller towards the floor, make sure a pillow is there in the spot. It will absorb about all the impact, thus saving the controller from harm.

That was my idea to solve broken NES controllers when I was like 8 or 9. My brother always hit the same spot on the floor when Mario jumped in the fire pit :rotfl:

my controller is spastic, i didnt use the one which came with the ps2. i just kept using my old analog controller that i got with my ps (cause it feels better) about two weeks ago it decided to go retarded on me, and the analog steering would get stuck when i turned right or left, and it would mysteriously deactivate half way through the race and id be stuck going at 150mph straight at a wall! now im using the ps2 controller, im just afraid of it going spastic too

New stuff shouldn't go spastic on you Bam..... And I thought that you had to have at least one PS2 controller hooked up to the PS2 at all times....

hmmmm i got some advice neva eva lend a mate a controller... i have wiv my ps1 (u know the pretty white ones) and it came back a brown colour wiv bits of food stuck to it... it will neva be the same :(

Thats a common fault on Ps1 controllers, it happens when the pad rumbles allot the analog switches off and you keep going straight. The dualshock motors in your controllers are probably loose, just take the controller apart and make sure the motors are properly inserted into their slots.
