Started B-spec LeMans 24hr with Peugeot 905.
Around lap 150 the Speed 8 starts dropping down the leaderboard. I see it sat there in the pit with it's crew standing 'round it. It stays there so i figured it's "retired".
About 50 laps later i notice the C60 Hybrid do the same. I click on the Bentley and it's racing again! It's drivers have high strength, but it's too far back on even the Vipers.
I'm roughly 80 laps further in, the Pescarola is still stopped, the Bentley's gone past it.
The "t.v. camera" view sorta hides them, but on other views they're just sat there. You can watch the other crews pull out tires/put up old ones before/after their pits, kinda cool.

A similar thing just happened to me in the 24 hour Nurburgring event. It was the Chevy in my case, which apparently had retired after only 14 laps. It was in the pits until around the 10 hour mark, before it finally re-joined the race and was 43 laps down on the car in 11th place!!

I nvr try endurance race yet....so does it mean system will force car or driver to retired till u change driver or car to continue?

Doing the Nurburgring myself and the 2J has pitted after 12 laps and has now sat there for a further 14. Never noticed this happen in previous endurance races.

I think its just an AI bug.

I'm doing the Le Mans 24 hours right now in 908, going on hour 19.

From lap 319 and onward the Pescarolo Hybride, for some reason, is driving around the track as if it ran out of fuel...For two whole stints (20 laps) I lapped him 4 times.

It does make going down the straights at 215+ mph suspenseful though.

I haven't encountered any "repairs" being done on the AI...

Dont think it ever will happen in the <24hr ones as they don't have Weather and time changes like the 24hrs do.
Thats been key to other bugs reported in AI. With this tire changing bug that other people get in the 24r races. (never had that bug ever)

In the 24 le mans I witnessed each team pitting every lap for rain tires for roughly 16 laps, then they stopped and were happy. The teams that still had their rain-intermidiate stayed on and caught up big time. It really sucked to watch
