I recently got a G25 to start my racing journey. I'm hoping that someone buys my Xbox 360 so I can get a PS3 and GT5. But I would also like a cockpit or wheel stand for my G25 rather than using my "portable" table, which isn't very sturdy.

I would like to spend under $100 AUD for my cockpit/wheel stand. Price doesn't need to include a Seat, cool if it could though :)

I spent under $100 for making this. I copied a design on the web. It's made out of wood and folds up for under the bed. This is what I made before I made my new rig.

I don't have dimensions but I didn't have them when I made this I just improvised. :) 3/4 plywood bottom. 1x4 posts and 3/4 plywood for the wheel mount. This stand has a name but I can't remember how I found it but some people have seen this design. Hopefully someone can chime in.

Thanks, this was my first try at building a rig and I am on my third (final).Sorry I don't have a picture with the wheel and pedals on it but I used this for a DFGT and my G27. I did not use my shifter with this stand but a mount would not be that hard to fabricate.

Okay I found the website, it is called the Wheelstation Pro. You can buy it for 49.99 + s/h pretty good deal if you don't want to make one. If you go this route you will have to make a mount for your shifter. And I don't know if if comes with it but I put grip tape on the bottom so it wouldn't slide on my carpet. I also wrapped mine in aluminum.

Damn that is such a good price, unfortunately I live in Australia. Maybe I'll try building it and add a side shifter to it. Now I already got a Seat in mind
So maybe I can spend about $150 for the cockpit (would be better because I have a seat) or wheel stand

I went to lowes and bought some 2x4s and built one. cheap and works great, now I just have to modify it for the shifter when my G27 gets here (when ever that will be)
