New car dealership not loading!

Well I finally updated gran turismo last week and installed the data on my hard drive as well.. everything seemed to go ok...until this

I can hit the dealership link but its when I select a make that the screen blacks out and takes me back to gt life. I also notice every make has zero cars for me to purchase at my level. Mayne the info did not save correctly?
 
This sounds odd, although I think I remember someone else posting something like this. I'll see if I can find it.

Edit:- Ok after looking through some threads it seems your best bet is to delete the Game Data not the Save Data. Delete it and then log out of the PSN and install the game first, then log back in and apply the updates. This will hopefully fix it.

thanks i actually did just that. i havnt yet applied the updated fearing the same problem, so im gonna re-try that again right now.

edit: Wow. i had been playing strictly off-line without the game updated or data installed on the ps3...

I plug in my ethernet, log in.. and start up gran turismo to find that i apparently dont have the 32mb of free space required to run the game. i have 177gigs of free space!

so im gonna uninstall the game data 1 more time, and try updating it all at once.
