Personally, I'd rather see someone more qualified, i.e., someonewho has done verifications or been a Race Admin before...
PAL Folks that come to mind are daan, Old Geezer or some of the other Moderators/Admins here.
Also, I have some issues with small fryz, as Duke will attest to (he can be a bit of a git, at times, both here and at the GTX where he goes by Rare White Ape).
However, all that being said, please sonsider my opinion last, as I still consider myself to be a "noob" Committee member
It is possible that in the future he could be a good candidate but at this moment I would like to wait and see more of his character.
Icemanshooter23 has also enquired about this sort of situation.
UB57 or "old geezer" would be ok but I am still sore about what happend with him a few months back when he dropped the gtp.
(what's to say he wouldn't do such a thing again?)
I have no probs with any choices as long as they are legit racers themselves and have a bit of common sense and full knowledge of the OLR rules 👍
I chat to small_fryz on msn on occasion and he seems fine to me ... 16 years old and quite the character ... you'd never think that he has had 9 heart operations in his life with all his activities 👍
I agree that Daan would be the obvious choice though! ... if it was choose a candidate 👍
Wow...I had no idea about S_F's health issues...kudos to him.
None-the-less, I guess I'd prefer to see someone a little older for now (like daan). If we get inundated, then we can start bringing in the young, eager guys to back us up.
Yeah, let's not get too excited here - I'm not sure if we're going to need anybody else just yet, at least not for a while. I'll tell SF that we're going to wait and see how big the demand is before we add anybody else.
