This kind of defeats your previous argument that the Corvette is in no way reliable compared to the STi, since this is statement makes it sound like personal experiences with a car invalidate opinions on reliability.

You've yet to address any of the points I've made regarding the short comings of the WRX/STi; instead just pointing out what other manufacturers are doing. While Subaru's AWD is neat, it adds weight, makes the car front heavy, and results in considerable drivetrain loss.

You said that the Vette is "vastly more reliable than the STI" which I refuted.
I didn't address the 2007-2009 STI issues cause you already did. After more reading, you're right.

Nice way of throwing out your argument there with that last sentence.

Thankfully, the range of Vette owners down here having issues is 1 in every 10, & judging by some of the more popular Corvette forums, they're around the same. Maybe people in your town just suck ass at taking care of their cars like your buddy in C5Z.

Yeah that must be it.
If you think 1 out of 10 is reliable, it's just average.

And where did those numbers come from? You made a fairly baseless argument, then invalidated it, and now are assuming we think 10% is a reliable number.

Baseless assumptions and incorrect information, combined with bias and relatively small sample numbers do not make for a solid argument.

You've yet to list some remotely current super cars the STi outperforms as well, and like I've mentioned, the C6 ZO6 smokes it in every way, aside from perhaps on a wet road course or auto-cross track (though C5 ZO6's tend to get the FTD around here quite often over the sea of STi owners)

But please, continue to make assumptions about those of us that suggest other cars may in fact be better cars all around than the precious STi.

Hmm, that price is edging on GTR, Z06 territory so it's a tad pricey. I am sure it will still sell though.

Although I'm not sure if the Z06 is sold in the UK anymore? And if they are, the price is much higher in the UK than the US.

If you would read it right the first time, only 1 in 10 Corvettes down here have any reliability issues. To help you understand that, it means 9 of the Corvettes are issue free which in turn means down here in Texas, the Corvette has been very reliable to it's owners.
