Can't complain. My old dfgt does not work anymore, better than no wheel or a cheap $30 wheel.

I think this game is meant to be played with a wheel. I've played with a DS3 as far as I can remember and just got a DFGT a week ago. It was a whole new experience. I'm more into the game than ever now.

and what about that "thing" betwen you, legs and the pedals its a steering wheel on a stick, lol, but Im riding a GT5 with SixAxis..

cant wait for my wheel.. and I will build with my own hands a setup for it. Im sure you can do aswell better than this and use some seat from some real car I have one laying around in friends garage lol

Wheels make GT5 so much better IMO. I'm glad I have a desk in my room, easy latch up and mobility. Vibrations wiggle the desk's keyboard holder pretty noisily though. Get a firm and well-put together stand, and get a good amount of space.

I have the wheel stand pro with my DFGT and it's a good setup. It's very stable and easy in put away if you don't have the room to leave it out all the time.

A seat will take your experience up a few more notches. Yes they are not cheap but so worth the money. I went with the less expensive DFGT just so I could afford my Playseat.

Had a go on a DFGT at the Autosport show and really liked it (shame I'm so skint I could only get the Thrustmaster Ferrari Experience wheel instead). However, For anyone that doesn't have the money for a "proper" race seat/wheel stand I highly recommend the Supido Hyper Drive. Very cheap and great value for money. Although if anyone gets one, you will need a cushion or pillow to sit on as the seat is made of hard plastic and has no padding at all.

The DFGT has good force feedback for half the price of the G27. I just think it's a bit lighter and made a bit cheaply, but the fun is still there. I played with a controller for so many years and if it wasn't for the wheel I purchased, I would have gotten tired of GT5 by now. However, I still play it constantly and put my Black Ops on the shelf.

As for my setup, well, got a stack a books under all 4 legs of my coffee table, found a chair with perfect height, and I'm good to go !

yeah it realy dose man if you not using a wheel your missing out on half the game i just did the 9 hours of tsukuba and my legs and arms where beat yo. It gave me a good feal for what edurance racing is all about even do you dont get a feal for the g pulling you in every coner but they wherent lieing about race car drivers being in shape jajaja but the dfgt is a real good bang for your buck i love mine

The difference in GT5 From going to a controler to wheel, Is night and day. Game shows its true colors. and what it's all about.　Love ,y DFGT but i still hook up the DS3 once in a while.

Playing the game with a controller is like watching a movie while facing the wrong direction (away from the movie). It's just doing it wrong and missing half the experience.

I'll dig out a link when I get home ( sorry, on the iphone at the moment ) but I put a review of the DFGT with the WSP in the Steering Wheels and Cockpits forum.

It comes down to personal preference but please do not order a WSP for the DFGT until you've at least read it.
