Anyone here ever play Tony Hawk Pro skater two player battles?
I liked how Tony Hawk two player battles worked. First guy runs and does a trick. The next person needs to run and do a better score to continue. Play goes back to the first player to out do the score again. You keep at it until one person cannot outscore the other. Everyone gets a chance to do better. This way, as you start off, you can test the course, don't have to go big right away. Play out the consistency, explore the angles and lines, and after each session you can turn up pace and difficulty to keep bringing on your best until one person makes a mistake. You have to keep raising the bar each run to progress. They could do the same with online drift events.
Begin with a grid of cars. Knockout rounds.

I'll come up with the rules. Its going to work around timing and scheduling when competition starts and ends. This way everyone works on posting their best times at the same time for a limited timeframe. Any times posted after the deadline won't count, so that this would simulate more of a competition in real world as opposed to just retrying and retrying until you post the top score. And scores reset every week.
