New DVD Drivers?

Well, Im sure some of you watch many DVD's on the ps2 as I do. One thing that i dont like is the skippy Fast Forward and Rewind. BUT! I heard a while back that the driver fix was going to be included with the release of GT3. Not that i was thinking about movies at all when i bought GT3 heh, but i was wondering what happened about that fix/what happened to the guy who said that. heh. Anyways, im still loving the GT Force wheel. Its just too 1337 heh
 
From what i've heard, sony is going to release the drivers for the DVD funtions with the official sony DVD remote. But I haven't heard of a release date yet.
