First let me say I love the GT series. I've played since the first version on the original PS. About six months ago I got away from gaming and GT6 and gave away my PS3 and games figuring I'd get back when the PS4 was out for a while. Recently I have been missing GT6, even fired up my trusty PS2 for some GT4. I still have my wheel, so yesterday I figured I would pick up another PS3 and get back to GT6. I am now into my fourth hour of updates and installing. I can't believe that a game maker could ever expect a gamer to have to endure this much time spent updating a new game. If I did not already know the game and love it, I would have returned it hours ago. The updates have not failed and the system appears to be chugging away and I believe the PS3 inactivity timer rebooted the system once after two hours... minor setback.
