VVT stands for variable valve timing.

P.s i reckon this will be an awesome machine.If they added DFI that could be a bonus too.But i am no engineer so probably not.

It's about time that Suzuki did something to change the GSX-R1000. Sounds like they have some good plans for it.

I bet ya a pound to a penny, that all other manufacturers are making Variable valve timing for their sportsbikes now Suzuki has done it.
