Hey fellow drift fans just want to post something up and see who's willing to show a new GT5 drifter around for some fun. Not new to drifting itself (formally a Forza drifter till file got corrupted and lost everything) but new to GT5 drifting but not to GT series itself. (drifted in 2 and 3 of GT.)

A good way to get around is look in the teams and meets and see who's on. Thursday night with NEMISIS is always a good night!
 
Welcome to GTP and welcome to GT5 drifting. My advice is to just stick to it and you'll learn, and don't read GhostZ's nonsense about "purest drifting."

GhostZ's stuff is not 100% nonsense. The new one he did, I think number 3, has some good information in it.
 
Thanks everyone. Yea i know that basics of it all just i had a lil team here and there on forza meet up and just pick a track and go for it. i was on last night doing some practice run and man i suck..lol..but ill be sure to keep an eye out for those meets and see if i can sneak in while the smoke is up...HA!
 
Word of advice, drifting in GT is way different than Forza :lol:, You'll need some re-learning to do.

Oh yea I know this already..lol...played an all nighter getting the swings of things playing with different cars ad settings. Getting the feel for it thou sooner or later I'll get it practice practice practice....:)
 
Hey man I'm on right now I just sent you a friend request. I'd say we are almost in the same boat. I'm trying to learn to, and I'm coming from a pretty decent background of drifting in Forza. If you want to just practice some hit me up, I'm on right now just trying to learn.
