SimBin are proud to announce that a new GTR game is in the pipeline; the wait is over and development on the next installment of our multiple awards winning GTR series has begun.

The title will take gamers back to the roots of SimBin style racing games, while offering a brand new take on the basic concept of “easy to drive, hard to master”, the hallmark of SimBin titles for the past decade.

SimBin will take a significant step up in both realism, visuals, and sheer immersion, offering players a completely new and unique experience based on the known and award winning simulation philosophy of SimBin. SimBin will focus on continued support for the game through multiple new innovative online features and activities, in addition to a very comprehensive DLC plan

The title is scheduled for release 2011, publisher TBA For future announcements on the new GTR game, keep an eye on www.simbin.com

The guys at neogaf were able to interpret the new picture hinting a PS3/XBOX360 release.

"NOTICE THE SUBLIME SIGNIFICANCY OF THE LAPTIME BOARDS - GT (Gran Turismo, Japan) is on the last place, N.S (Need for Speed Shift I presume, USA) is third by laptime, while FM (Forza Motorsport, USA) is second. Of course, GTR (GTR, Sweden) leads the pack. Funny guys those Sweds, don't you think so:sly:"

niceeeeeee, race pro was very good if you could get your head around the bugs so I really hope this does come to console as I will be very much looking forward to this.

Is this the unanounced racer due to be announced this month to threaten gt5?

I'll check it when it comes out :) Bring it ON!

Forza has the best time, though :sly:, -9.7. While GTR is +9.7! hmmmm...

Actually that's indications that GTR leads by a 9.7 margin.
Forza follows 9.7 behind (-) the leader.
Need for Speed is third (P3), 6.1 seconds behind P2.
Finally GT is P4, 3.2 behind N.F.S.

i read that too. I think there positioning is very false. GTR(only race cars) is not the same category as GT(all kind of cars), and than the 2 between, com'on.
Correct order is : GT ->GTR-> rfactor-> LFS -> BIG GAP -> Fm3 -> PGR-> NFS(whole serie).
But still, this could be good news if they actually bring out a new gtr. The past 4 years they were just updating the original GTR (for my opinion). If they include a bit more different cars (like all the cars from race on + all the good mods) and but in a visual graphics from this year and not a decade ago, it will be awesome
BTW, still playing GTR2 and love it (with all my mods)
Now we need news from R factor...

I still play the original GTR, and it's still loads of fun. Too bad there were few mods made for this game, an updated FIA GTR or an ALMS mod would've made it all so much better.
