Awesome stuff. Legos are awesome, although I can almost guarantee that I have more than you (I ought to take a picture and post it in the legos thread in the hobbies forum, but I'm too lazy). Yep, legos rule. Good job on the house, hope it's everything you hoped for when you bought it (or rented it).

I bought it. It's cool, just empty. Time will make it better.

So ... it's a Lego's duel, eh? Lets start with my Castle series Legos. I have over 125 men, and more than 20 horses. I keep the building blocks in a 15 gallon Rubbermade storage bin.

Ball is in your court, sucka.

Coolies! :)👍

All my Legos are rather spread out right now... I've got a bunch of them in a 3'x2'x2' box, several sets underneath the coffee table, and two trash bags full of them in my closet, plus I think another box. Gotta start playing with them again someday. :D

Eh, we can give you a run for the money. maybe... If I get a chance, I'll spread them out and snap a pic. We've got multiple Rubbermaid bins of the stuff, mostly Castle, Space, and Harry Potter, along with a fair number of just generic bricks from a building competition in college.

That's it? I have two 10-gallon bins overflowing with legos, not to mention the vast creations I have scattered about the room. I must have at least 15 men, but my sister has been collecting those forever now. I'm sure she's at 500 by now. Horses are useless to me, although I do have a version of Odin from Final Fantasy 7 galloping about. Don't get in an artillerial duel with me, because I can completely pwn anything you might whip out. (I haven't even mentioned the robot kit...)

Oh, that's just what I have from my childhood. I've moved on to Classic Star Wars, spacifically the "Ultimate Collector Series". Though I'm thinking you may have me out weighed ... I do have the Star Destroyer, Rebel Transport, Snow Speeder, X-Wing, and Tie Advanced. I also have the William's F1 and the Ferrari F1. I've also been adding to my castle collection.

There's a new Maersk cargo ship for 2004 that introduces at least one new color, if not two. It's huge, and it's priced really well. Hopefully I can talk someone into getting me that for a holiday gift. I also want to put a Lego train around the ceiling in one of my rooms. I figured it to be less than $600 for Lego parts, and maybe $150 in lumber and paint. And it would be an awesome touch to the house.

I never had any Lego train sets. :( Parents always considered it too expensive (and you get like what, 4' of track that goes in a circle?)

I amassed a huge "Wild West" collection though – I think I have almost every single set in the original system (ooh, Lego terminology!), including the fort and the city (with the bank and department store). I should rebuild all that – so much fun.

So I had this bunch of stuff typed up and click a link in another window and it reloaded this page with the text box empty. So this is what you get now ...

Wild West, cool!

There you go.

Lego is teh awesome. My girlfriend bought me the Sea Eagle "Pirates" non-pirate ship a while back. I think my Pirates collection is the biggest, although I've got quite a bit of Castle stuff, some Ninjas, a fair bit of town (I was one of the first people outside Denmark to get "Light & Sound" models - I know, because I bought them IN Denmark the day they were released, 3 months before they were released anywhere else).

Now I've got an extra bedroom I might just set mine all up... :D

No Harry ******g Potter though. Not buying into any of JK Rowling's plagiarised pap.

Why is everyone pluralising "Lego" anyway? It's derived from the first person of a Danish verb - "I play".

Lego (minus S) - good point. I keep forgetting that. In the English language it's used like deer, or fish. The same word is both singular and plural.

I essentially have a spare room, but I don't think I'm going to dedicate any single room to Lego. I will have them spread throught my house. Eventually I will disassemble the Lego Group models and make models of my own. But for now they will remain in their original set configurations.

damn, my brother would tag along with all you lego freaks nicely, he loves them too... well, I do, too, but I prefer to buy hot wheels :D
whatever, congratulations on the house loud, I envy you big time. as you make it look like a house and not only a big bunch of empty rooms, get some pics here, willyia? I want to see the reincarnation of the purple wall, because it rooooled.

Wow, learn something new every day.

About the pictures from the purple wall ... I plan to move them in the near future. I also have about 60 new ones to add, almost doubling the collection.
