i think instead of them limiting on how much credits a car can be so you can send i think there should be a way you can trade a higher value car for another higher value car like the pikes peak escudo for a formula gt or something like ya know
 
Yes, i've been aware of the trade restriction since the day it happened. What you suggest was suggested by a thousand people the day it happened and has been suggested infinate times since on a near daily basis, so as i stated, i'm struggling to find your 'new idea'.
 
oh i didnt know that. i dont get on here everyday like all the other people do to complain about them not being able to trade cars over 1,000,000 credits/dollars
 
No, i don't either but the search function is a very useful little feature - as are capital letters at the beginning of sentances! ;)
 
Complete idea of "gifting" (also known as "trading") has been compromised when we got ability to perform a backup save of GT5.

Making "Gift" ("trade") process non-consequential - where you can give any item to anyone, but never actually loose it - has undermined the complete logic of the "gift" ("trade") feature.

In order to make a compromise, the "gift limit" was introduced and it helps in keeping in place the deliberate design-logic of the game where high-tier vehicles should not be made easy to obtain without at least some effort or by genuine in-game mechanics (UCD/OCD/Prize Tickets, etc.).

No, but I did.

While you were busy harrassing a new member for his poor form on proper usage of capital letters, I took a cursory glance through your posts. It would seem a curiously unintelligent behaviour to badger someone new for something you fail to do so often yourself.

Address your own shortcomings with regards to the rules you agreed to when you joined the site, rather than concerning yourself with how others manage it. This is not by way of conversation or suggestion.
 
Unfortunately, there is no trading option in GT5. You can only gift and hope to receive something in return. Trading would be a better feature where you could see what is being offered before you accept the trade.
 
I have an idea.

Allow a maximum worth of cars per day to be traded.

Say keep the trade limit at 5,000,000 cr, and allow that much worth of cars to be traded. So a 500,000cr NASCAR leaves you with 4,500,000 million worth to trade.
 
There is no Trade, only Gift.

Gift idea was circumvented once the backup was allowed.

It is not *fair* that we can both give cars and have that same car again. If there was a way to prevent restoring gifted cars, I can bet my GT5 gamesave how Gifting limit would be restored ASAP.

But since backup is more important, Gift limit will remain. Is is so simple.
