The Apple Store (Note: Australian Apple Store) has just recently been updated. There is now a 3.0GHz 24" iMac and it seems the other models have been "shuffled down", making the 2.4GHz the bottom of the range model, they've all been updated to use the Penryn processors too. Prices have dropped too, it seems I'll be paying much, much less for mine next week! :D

I've only ever used Windows, so I want to try something different. I've had experience with Macs, I found them fun and I have money to spend. Also, Sage will love me for it. :p
 
Finally they get penryn.

Too bad it's still 2400 bucks for one that doesn't suck.
 
I'm talking about the US one that has an 8800 GS.

I gave it up! Actually, you know, I find myself hating pretty much every operating system out there for one reason or another these days. OS X has it merits, and I would totally run it for every day stuff if I had it. Windows also has it's strong points, gaming being a big one. Linux doesn't really have any strong points aside from that it's free, which is nice I guess.

I'm thinking about going back to XP honestly.. :nervous:

The thing about Macs is, specifically with the iMac series, I just couldn't get myself to drop that much cash when I know I could build a system so much faster for the same price. Now the Mac laptops.. Mmmmm. One day. But I'll run Windows 7 on it. :p
