Hey Zr0, do you have the vid those bad ass pics came from online? I want to see that so bad.

Great vids...
Don't know if anyone's noticed it, but in the NY-Prowler video, you can actually see the reflections on the driver's helmet as well as him steering and shifting... also check out the details on the helmet... very cool.

Hmm. That almost, almost, looked like one of those Best Motoring flicks you see all the time.

I say almost, because the BM guys don't lean on each others all the time, and the BM guys don't drive with two wheels off the road all the time. I hope these things are fixed before the game comes out...

Zr0, help me out here, I see that this vid has zero on it, is this one of yours and if so can I see the rest of it because I believe there's more in the vid
Here's the vid
http://www.virtualdreams.fr/jeux/granturismo4/gt4-2.mpg

That vid it's only 1:34, the same duration that the original. In any case there's a version with more resolution although continues lasting the same.. (in Xvid format and with many problems of visualization for many people).

New Hong Kong track:

"topless bar" :D Wonder if that's where the pitstops occur?

Tell the truth Zr0, you work for PD don't you , lol :p

Yea, how did u get all those new pictures when other big gaming websites dont even have a ****. btw, i lived in Hong Kong before, it looks exactly like that. although, the buildings look kind of flat, I wonder how many photo did they take to make that track.

Which looks better, that hong kong track or the NYC track?

I'll have to see both in motion, I've only seen the NYC track on DVD footage so far, but that HK track looks the buisness.

It's very hard to tell. They are both flooding with buildings. Wont be a big different tho, because it's coming out from the same engine. But the HK track is the first picture at night in GT4, isnt it?

Yep, theres been a concept art pic floating around but no in game screenshots, or in game models like these.

They look good but imo this track is best looking

I can't wait to race that baby, what's the name of that Fuji, correct me if I'm wrong.

GT4 sure does look nice, but those pictures are too small, so i couldnt tell.

Thats a poor quality pic from the FMV clip.

I got the mag that comparsion came from and if there weren't lables to tell you which is real and not I wouldn't be able to tell which was which.

Theres been a few comparisons, you can tell but if you just glance at it or look from a distanc in the pics it looks close, mind you when you get GT4 up and running it will look quite different to the real tracks then, still great graphics.

one that real to gameplay comparison.... THE GAME LOOKS REALER!! very impressive indeed.......

do they ever have videos/screenshots where they have convertables with more than just 2 cars on the track? so far, its always just the 2 cars. mayb you'll only be able to have 2 of these cars on the track...

IN GT Concept there were 6-player races with Suzuki GSX-R open-top models. Guess that won't be a problem.

What would be intresting to see is the ability to have open-top models (like targas or convertibles) available for choose in booth chasis variations. Real treat would be to have an option to open-close rooftop during the race, in addition to the real vehicle specs (as the roof on the most models can be opened-closed only in certain speeds).

In GT Concept the Concept GT-R and W12 had an rear-spoiler that would go out in certain speeds - this would be just an lovely upgrade to the in-game vehicle animations.

Would it be cool yea, but would I want it? No... Why because alot of people complained about not being able to have the top down and now I start hearing talking about having to close it.. now I know someone has to say something but in my opinion after you choose your car you should have a choice (convertibles only) to have top up or top down and you pick the one you want and thats it, cuz theres better things they could do besides making animations on having the top closing and opening. Could they do it of course they could use the R3 button or use the right analog stick and push it up and down, but again theres better things they could do and animate besides that. Again I think it'll be good if they made it a choice right before your race, cuz if they do have rain or snow or whatever in the game would be pretty weird driving in the rain with your top down lol...

You sound too serious about the subject I posted with intention to make it not so serious.

Takin off the roof during the race would be a very difficult to achieve while keeping the level of graphic uncompromised in the same time - and I'm perfectly aware of that. But it would be a great coding and graphic achievment in the same time.

And last but not least - guess the manufactorers would just adore it. And I would have a great time in watching the replay of driving trough the Trial Mountain while measuring is the 1:45 seconds realy enough for the roof of my SL55 AMG to be placed in and out for 3 times.

But that's just a freakin IMHO.

:D :D

It would take away from the authenticity of the game doing it mid race, having the choice before the race is a good idea.
