My rule for retrospective cars has always been that it must always be built within the same spirit/mindset/purpose of the original. For this reason I've never like the new Beetles, new MINI's (although I respect them), Prowler, Thunderbird and so on. I can't decide on this one though.
The original Stratos road-version was only put out there to comply with the homologation rules, this one is not. On the other hand, the pictures in the link make it look like it could be quite the little sports car...(Damn pretty as well)
Love the wheels, love the shape, love the windscreen. Then again, it was based on the Stratos, there aren't many ways to screw something like that up...
