Hi everybody,
after lurking here since I got GT5 for christmas from my brother, I finally decided to join the forums after seeing that the forums I regularly attend (old retro video games) doesnt really have any GT5 players.

about me, I'm 33 lives and raised in NorCal, Attending car races since I was in my mother's tummy (lol) when my Dad was working on his friends pit team at the old Baylands strip in Fremont, and attended small track racing all over norcal because my grandparents sponsored a couple cars. My Grandpa and Dad both were well known back in the day. I graduated with a degree in automotive tech but havent been putting it to use since Ive been working in another field.

I've played video games for as long as I can remember back to my first atari and getting the first NES back in 1986 with duck hunt and Gyromite

I first played Gran Turismo 1 when I rented it from Hollywood, fell in love with the game so I never returned it to hollywood, preferring to just pay the fine LOL I still have this copy as well, the instruction manual contains VALUABLE racing advice and strategy, I suggest people to read it!
I somewhat skipped GT2 and got GT3 for the PS2 (still got it as well!) but missed out on GT4... so I guess you could say I'm a odd GT racer! :-D

feel free to add me on PSN- FlaminSkull77 I have never raced online and might be a bit rough around the edges (a bit nervous about if I am racing clean and not cutting in someone else's line in the middle of the apex, etc...) but after a race or 2 I should "get in line" with the etiquette.
