New member, new GT, new cockpit

First off, hi all :)
I've been following this forum for quite some time, so i've (finnaly) joined.

I was planning on building a cockpit for some while now, but finnaly i started building it.
Here are some pics of how roughly should look like:

If you have any good ideas, suggestions, or experience i would be happy if you would share it with me :D
 
hehe i knew somebody would ask that :D
it's not going to be so far away, but in the end of drawing it i was so frustrated i didn't go to fix it :D i WILL be smaller when done :)
 
yup. its too far. commonly the steering wheel will be aligned to the edge of your seat

And i think the pedal is too high. You might want to lower it a bit.

Suggestion: why dont you try to measure it based on real car?
