So I'm in the market for a new Monitor for my PC/Xbox/PS3. With the Xbox One coming out soon I need some HDMI ports, and eventually I'd like to do triple screens. Currently I run a 1400x900 19" LED Monitor.

So I'm looking at this monitor. An ASUS VE248H LED monitor. I found a great deal, $159.99, for this monitor, and it looks like a great monitor!

Would this be a good choice? I would rather not go above $200.00 and 24" is great for me! It would be a nice upgrade from 19".

I realize its not quite the same model but I purchased a ASUS VS248H-P last fall for the PS3 and wasn't impressed, blown out colors and whites and and color adjustment is surprisingly limited, My cheap 32 inch Samsung TV has much more color control for white balance and color temp and looks MUCH better on the ps3, I tried both full range and limited hdmi settings in the ps3 menu too. I suppose you can tweak the colors more using a PC

The first monitor arrived with 3 dead pixels and I returned it, second one has only 1 at the edge of the screen but I don't really notice it.

I should have spent the extra 75 bucks on the Asus PA238Q 23 inch IPS display that is supposedly calibrated properly at the factory. my advice is don't buy a monitor until you can actually view it in person. I learned my lesson.
